Board of Investment (BOI)

Promotes and facilitates foreign direct investment. Provides guidance to foreign companies on doing business in Mauritius.

The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI)

The MCCI, established in 1850, is the oldest non-profit making institution representing the private sector in Mauritius. With the increase in the island’s volume of trade during the first decades of British administration, the Mauritian business community felt the need for a formal representational and arbitration framework to foster the interests of the trading community and to settle disputes and conflicts arising in trade-related activities.

The Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIOD)

MIOD’s vision is to be the preferred professional organisation for directors and aspiring directors as well as business leaders and young professionals providing a forum to learn, share and develop.

Financial Services Promotion Agency (FSPA)

The Financial Services Promotion Agency (FSPA), operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Financial Services, Good Governance and Institutional Reforms, is mandated to promote and develop Mauritius as an International Financial Centre (IFC) of excellence.

Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA)

The MQA’s aims and objectives are to continuously enhance good practices and relevant expertise to safeguard public interest in quality education and training.

Human Resource Development Council (HRDC)

The Human Resource Development Council (HRDC), operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research, became operational in November 2003 as per the HRD Act of 2003.
